What a pyramid filter is?
We produce all our infusions using only certified filters, compostable, made of mesh fabric consisting of polylactic acid (PLA) fiber extracted from corn plants. Filters can be recycled as industrial compost and converted into biogas. They are in fact new generation filters, with zero emissions, designed to avoid any harm to people and the environment, respecting the concept of circular economy.
The difference between pyramid filter and conventional filter
It is a pyramid-shaped filter in which you can insert long leaf teas and herbal teas, also adding pieces of fruit, flowers and berries. The filter used is filled with infusion through a filling machine and then welded with ultrasonic technology, so without adding any type of glue. The filter material is transparent so the product inside is visible causing a strong visual effect.
Pyramids can be packed in different kind of customizable packaging like sachets, boxes or tins, or individually wrapped in all cases where it is necessary to show the individual tea bag or serve it at a distance. This overwrap can be made with transparent recyclable material in order to use the same material for all fragrances, or it is possible to develop a coloured film for each product, with a very interesting graphic and branding effect.

Infusi Personalizzati uses only pyramid filters with OK Compost certification, made of PLA (polylactic acid) that can be thrown into the wet waste after use, in full respect of the environment.

Pyramid filters can be supplied in bulk or individually packed. This is a very common requirement in the Ho.Re.Ca channel because it guarantees the perfect integrity of the filter until the moment of consumption.

The generic material we use for this type of processing is certified for contact with food and is transparent and recyclable in plastic. This is a very popular solution because it allows you to see the product in leaves inside the sachet, very nice especially if you use infusions with pieces of fruit, berries and flowers.

Tea Tag Customization
In the Anglo-Saxon world it is called "Tea Tag", that is the paper label of tea filter. It is a small paper tag, usually squared but it can be realized also in different shapes which obviously makes the brand of the product very recognizable when the filter is inserted in the cup by the customer.
The paper tag is fixed on a cotton thread (also customizable in length: standard or short or long string) that has on the other end the compostable pyramid filter full of leaves. Tag is customizable from a certain minimum quantity.
In detail, to customize tea tag, it is possible to work on:
• Graphic personalization of the tea tag: you can choose the colour you prefer and customize by inserting the company logo. The printing is done in digital, so it can be in four-colour and high quality.
• Customization of tea tag’s shape: we propose different shapes and sizes in which the tag can be realized. The cost will vary depending on the shape and size choice. Filter tag is certainly an element of strong impact, which remains in the memory of the customer who is enjoying his cup of tea.

About the outer bag film,
it's possible to use a transparent material, food contact certified and recyclable, and to print the company logo and the product name on the bag during the production process. This material is always available so the minimum order with this kind of packaging is really small.
Alternatively, for a more advanced customization, you can buy personalized color film and the material you prefer. Also in this case, you can customize the film by printing the name of the product or variable data that could be the batch and expiration date or the preparation instructions for specific infusions.
Regarding the size of the sachet, you can make square sachets of 9 cm x 9 cm for pyramid-shaped filters or rectangular sachets of 5.2 cm x 9.5 cm for pillow-shaped filters. The two sachet shapes are shown in the following image.
